Need for speed most wanted 2005 ost8/11/2023 its mostly there for emphasis and to tell you something important like having a slipstream turbo ready rather than being in your face all the time. the pop out effects looked good and werent really as omnipresent as i would have expected. night time racing feelsl like a minor downgrade from heat tho tbh. Graphics: great looking game, daytime is a signifcant step up from heats horrible looking daytime racing. sound design was kinda dissapointing tho that was probably just the games binarual headphone implementation. some tracks are pretty bad like the icecream track but overall better than heats horrible reggeton soundtrack. i ended up modding it out near the end of the first week because the rubberbanding made it obvious it was a poor choice. feels like theres less track variety then even a racing game from the ps2 era. overall track design is incredibly simple to the point of dullness especially since youll be repeating tracks multiple times a week thru the 25 hour story mode. take overs are just worse burnout stunt races. speed races are junk since even with a maxed out car they are incredibly difficult to finish 1st or even make it past 3rd with the rubberbanding. car chases are impossible to fail once you buy the repair kit but they are annoying at level 5 heat because cops spawn out of thin air if you can see an area on your minimap. you do have to tweak your cars alittle bit to get them where you want them to be but overall it felt great even tho the jank of the physics could show itself at times. story reasons that make you wonder if the mc has memory problems (you'll see what i mean). Gameplay: delivery missions are fun but the game asks you to do all of them again during the last week for story reasons. i was already kinda burned out on the games lack of track variety in the last in game week of the game but this moment immediately made me ready to move on. after wards you get some new story developements on the protag of most wanted 2005 along with a corny reference to razor and the blacklist. if i was driving this same m3 in most wanted 2005s final chase it would be a completely different experience more dynamic, more exciting, more challenging but here i am without any trouble completing this mission like it aint shit. here i am driving the m3 having no trouble playing keep away from the cops in a world that doesnt even have pursuit breakers. I came this to realization last night when the game let me drive the bmw m3 gtr from most wanted 2005 in a max heat delivery mission rite before the final mission of the game.
